I have also put up my Cayin N6ii with A01+T01+E01 for sale (comes with Dignis light brown leather case);
I didn't get around to unboxing it as I was travelling but decided to sell it to finance other gear I have been meaning to purchase.

The "PCM Antialiasing Filter Settings" I'm speaking of primarily, from "Fast Roll-Off, Minimum phase" to "Hyrbid" and "Apodizing" etc. I have no clue what these each are meant to do and am not sure if this would help with bass/low end and kick drum impact. Theres 7 settings in this menu, as well as other menus such as "DSD Antialiasing Filter settings" "DSD gain compensation" etc. That I would like to know recommended settings or understand the uses of each to best choose my settings.

Digital filters will more affect the sense of soundstage that you get from the music.

I just received an n6ii demo (part of a review tour) and getting acquainted with it. With the T01 i can only see two filters under PCM antialising filter setting.

Shouldn’t there be more (6 or 7) or does it alter as per motherboard?

edit: yes it is dac/motherboard dependent

Does anyone know if every unit has a scroll wheel that doesn't change the volume with every click? I find that it's not even consistent and will change the volume every click and then nothing for a few clicks regularly.
This is how my unit operates. And I have heard from others that's how it works too. So I imagine they are all weird with the volume control. Probably my biggest annoyance with the dap.

Yep, the same with mine. I got used to it after a while.

Yes unfortunately this is how the volume wheel works. N6II is a high end almost TOTL DAP and should be free of issue such as this. I really wonder if this could be fixed via FW update or it’s a bad HW implementation. Cayin should at least give us a statement about it...

It's using a rotary encoder to change the volume inside a chip. Rotary encoders, to put it simply, aren't pleasant to use as volume controls, both feel-wise and performance-wise.
