Nearly there!! Testing in the speaker rig and then final wiring clean up :)

Cool!

Didn't know you had a HAL 9000 under the hood running things.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

OMG the looters ran off with the cover and knobs!
I love the etched faceplate, though. REALLY NICE.
How were you able to obtain one of those? Was there a special diy program?

Thanks!

and No!! there is NO DIY program for the Liquid Fire. I really want to emphasize this.

This is a prototype version of the Liquid Fire. It is an incarnation of the penultimate evolutionary step to the production amps you have in your hands. The production version has a further refined power supply section based on the prototype results.

Words fail to describe what an emotional trip this headphone amplifier takes you through.

Listening to Rachel Yamagata's ELephants album. Also have Portishead, Josh Martinez and Marv Elllis on my playlist. This is going to be a loong lazy day listening to music :)

My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.

That would be a weird thing to go through your head while listening to the amp.

The Liquid Fire continues to amaze.  Just finished listening to Blind Faith MFSL version and it never sounded better.

Heh...not sure I figured it out as much as made an arbitrary decision.  OK...to be fair, I do like the Siemens tubes, but I'm not sure if I like them or the Tungrsams more.  sachu's LF has tungsrams in it though, so figured that it would give a little variety, if nothing else.
