What a long way we've come... Cannot believe I can make Solaris truly wireless and still sound this good. Thanks Shure!

nice. which module are you using?
Shure TW2. I cannot believe how amazing this feels. I know I'm late to the TWS party, but Solaris without wires AND with ambient mode so I can hear my wife talking to me while I work? It's like a dream come true. And I haven't even messed with anything yet...I literally opened the TW2 box, plugged them in, paired with DX220, been listening since. Haven't played with the app or anything, it all just works.

Perhaps a slightly smaller soundstage compared to wired with DUNU Blanche. And with ambient on everything feels a little more pinched? But it's still Solaris. And while my experience is SUPER limited so far--I JUST opened these things up within the hour--I'm already liking the tradeoff for added features.

I received the UTWS5 this week. They are very convenient and power the Ikko OH10 pretty well, but not so well with the IER Z1R. I am looking forward to ambient mode as well. I was talking on the phone and it seemed like the BT connection was cutting in and out despite my phone being less than 3 feet away from me in my line of sight.

There's no ambient on the UTWS5 right now is there? I must say I'm enjoying that very much on the TW2.

Not yet. FiiO has said it will be implemented in their next FW update. It is in testing currently.

That's largely why I went with the TW2. Will be interested to hear about head to head comparisons once that's implemented.

It seems CFA has officially discontinued the Solaris 2020-- I wonder how long until a new flagship is announced.
