No reports from anyone who has tried the 'Shrink ray' edition yet? Apparently it has a slightly different tuning to the Solaris 2020.

It's an awful pairing, I've had the Go for 3 weeks now, and it pairs well with everything else I have...But with Solaris it sounds noticeably worse than an Apple dongle. It's as if parts of the mid range have been removed, very weird and gappy.

I tried using it with ifi go blu too and wasn’t impressed. Not that it was awful, but not enough to justify the cost of the go blu, however convenient it - returned to Amazon.

The thing is, the Go blu pairs superbly with my Elegia & P9 over ears. Just the solaris it needs improvement with

Indeed and that's perfectly fine. It would be silly of us to think that our products fit every IEMs/haedphones out there (...but they fit most ). Speaking of, customers often ask us whether their products will like our stuff and many such questions are about IEMs and our portable devices. That's why your feedback is valuable, thanks!

I hope we get a new flagship from Mr Ball next year.

The OG Solaris absolutely kills it with EDM. If you want a really pumping listen, have a look for Metrik's Hackers track.
Every time I think I wasted too much money on this, I turn it on and listen and am absolutely blown away.

I agree, for EDM the Solaris is the best piece of audio gear I have. Even my Focal over ears can't compete. Solaris has the same punchiness as a focal, but its so meaty and the tone is magnifique.

The limited run is still available. Not very popular, apparently.

Nice to see all this OG love here. It's still a great generalist set that handles a vast amount of music with grace.

Waiting for CFA to release a true successor.
Tuning tweaks, shell re-designs, and driver updates are not good enough. Especially when they place your flagship model behind the previous champs (OG/SE).
If it was me, I'd stop diluting my models with "tweaks" and limited editions, cut the cord, and work on new stuff that can compete a little harder.
