Perfect color combination for sure. "I like Gooold" (Austin Powers reference)

Indeed :D

Agreed, a true new model would be amazing. I am getting a IER Z1R to keep me going for some novelty :p
Perhaps the Solaris and Andromeda designs are pretty hard to beat in existing prototyping. I am hopeful Ken will find a way :D

The ADLC driver is pretty special, I had an Atlas briefly, but the Solaris provides enough oomph for me to have sold it. Fingers crossed the ADLC will be the foundation of any new release.

oh lordy that's nice. I found the best sounding source i own for solaris is my wm1a with wm1z firmware. That lush warm sound is perfect for em

The size of solaris 2020 is the limit for my ears. Solaris og is bigger compared to 2020 right?

Yes, it's thicker.

I tried my solaris 2020 with:
Iphone V50
Ibasso DC04
Ibasso DC05
Cayin RU6 (3.5 mm and 4.4 mm)
The cable was the same aloaudio reference in two versions: 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm
I´m in the iem world for a few years: i had only maxell dba 700, two kz models and meze rai solo. now i have westone w30 that i use with fiio bluetooth modules and two campfire´s sisters 2020 version: vega and solaris.
i´m not a good person to write reviews.i love muy vega but i have to admit that solaris is superior. it is a really interesting and well sounding headphone even if on certain occasions I would prefer a little more mids. it is much more sensitive than vega so much that I thought that in balanced it was not worth it. strangely when I connected it in balanced, obviously lowering the volume, the headphones sound more balanced.
With cayin RU6 we are at a very high level. in these days I will continue the listening. for now my main system remains off

Need help about cable for Solaris Og. Do you know some option that give me a real sound update?
Pure silver. I love the DHC Clone Silver balanced with all my Solaris(s).

Just for curiosity if you want: why so many solaris?
I started with the OG, then got the SE. When the 2020 came out I got them for the smaller black shell for commuting and in bed with my WM1A. I use the SE with the WM1Z. I don't use the OG that much but came in handy when I had to send the 2020 in for repair (one of the stainless steel nozzle came off).

I cannot reco. my DHC Symbiote 8 core, maybe too thick sounding for most tastes, the Leo plus, pure silver elements will be more acceptable to most due to improvements in sub bass, mids details and controlled bodied upper treble.
A slight bump in holographic imaging is welcome, too...
