As I had mention before, ifi Hip Dac will go rage (over exaggerated) of Hiss if pair with Solaris even in 4.4 TRRS...
Today, I remember when Twister mention how to control Hiss (DX220Max review) when ur music player is seperate from AMP... u Lower the Volume on music player around 70. viola... Hip DaC free hiss on Solaris OG... hahaha... but doesn't mean better in term of soundstage, clarity etc...

Please, could you share the link for the custom silicon tips. i just want to be sure. Thanks...

Yea the Custom Art, this works great for shallow metal shells.

Current favourite setup: Vox Player => Lotoo Paw S1 => CFA Super Smoky Litz 4.4mm => Solaris SE => Azla Sedna eartips. The S1 really is something else and I think has emerged as my favorite source for Solaris.

I really enjoy the S1 as well from my MacBook Pro 16 inch. It sounds amazing with the Legend X and Odin. I did hear the Solaris SE on it and yes, hard to find a better combo even with higher end devices.

I've received my super smokey litz cable today with 4.4mm for the paw and the audio sounds amazing, even better than the stock cable! Unfortunately, the paw isn't completely black anymore but it's a trade-off I'm willing to make .

The PAW S1 is an exceptional paring for the Solaris. I really loved it and i think in terms of price/performance ratio it is nearly unbeatable.

What Lotoo did here is truly awesome!

Yep, had the 1Z and S1, sold the 1Z. Then bought an R8, S1 still gets more use. Just so dang convenient and sufficient.
