This is true, and enough of a reason. But it's actually a lot sturdier as well. And not just the connector, but the jack itself. I've had 2.5mm jacks come loose on expensive players that are difficult to repair. The 4.4 holds up a LOT better in my experience.

Hello, which cable is better for Solaris to use with the Lotoo Paw S1? Copper or silver? Dunu Hulk or Dunu Blanche?
Just about 1 year with my Solaris SE + n6ii and it still continues to amaze and impress.

Everyone in this thread has mentioned Blanche way more than Hulk lately, so go Dunu Blanche.
FWIW, I use a copper/silver fusion with my Solaris 2020 and love it. I've not used either of the Dunu cables, but have used the stock cable and the ALO SXC 8, and prefer the Double Helix fusion I have paired with it now. Great synergy IMHO.

I'm loving DX228ex with OG Solaris and Dunu Blanche right now. S1's on my holiday shopping list.
Likely for Vega and Dorado 2020 editions (they have leaked a few days ago from distributors, ETA late October).

I do hope the Vega 2020 is more of a successor to the Atlas tuning.... although, purely speculating here... from that teaser it looks like a possible third IEM may be in the mix?
I don't find it to be. Perhaps that's due to the pairing with amp8ex?

I liked my OG, but sold it off in February because IER-M9 was a bit better to my ears. Since then, I've acquired Andro S, Nio, Andro 2020, MEST and U12T and still have the SE haunting me.

Yes I'm in BC. I've heard the u12t extensively and owned Andro for a bit...but I would love to hear the MEST or Nio, with a preference for the Nio as I'm currently part of a MEST tour so will be hearing that one eventually. I'd be willing to do an exchange for a couple weeks with either of those. I'll even send along my PAW S1 as I feel it brings out the best from Solaris.

Better than the questyle? I have a qp2r on a 3.5 cable and was wondering if I should upgrade the cable to a 2.5 or try the paw s1
