I had the Nobel Khan, Empire Ears Legend X and The Wraith, Tia Noir as well as the 12 and 18 driver unit to compare as well. And i definitely preferred the new Solaris version.

I really liked it. I wouldn’t say it is that big jump in sound quality. But I preferred it because of the better bass. If I had to put it in numbers I would say (please take it with a grain of salt) somewhere between 5-10% (soundstage felt like it had a bit more depth too)

5 to 10 for everything. And thats why I said take it with a grain of salt. For me it was that improvement and I just heard them for about 15 minutes, cause everyone there wanted to hear them. It is at least so much better for me, that I will go for it as soon as it’s available and sell my „old“ ones

Yes it was advertised to have some differences. And I am sorry that I have got no further informations. I just wanted to tell everybody there is a new version coming out and that I liked the sound very much

No. Unfortunately I have no link or further informations. We were told it is a world premier and I already was late for the event so maybe others know more.
I was happy enough that I had the chance to hear them and to be at an event like this (I was invited because of my Solaris purchase from them and it was not announced in the invitation)
To me, and the people which I talked to at the event, the new version was an improvement and we were all interested in buying one. The only other thing I know is that probably just about 20 of the 750 pieces will go to Germany and the most to Japan and other countries in Asia. I guess CA will soon release more information about the new version.
