Well, when I recabled the Aurvana Live! with D5000 cable, I compared with my friend's stock one side-by-side. The differences were there, even straight from an mp3 player, maybe it has an even worse cable than the D2000 has, I don't know, but both were burn-in. I will try it with a better amplification and source in a few weeks, and I think they will be easier to detect. And the D7000's cable definitely feels better than the D5000 which is still not that good in my opinion(had all three).

OK kidding. I don´t know. I have asked a local (Scandinavian) shop about the D5000 cable when Markl run out of it and said there was a waiting list. It was already too late, because in the meantime I bought padam´s D7000 cable and cups instead.

Anyway, surprisingly the shop had it in stock (in Denmark, but they would have delivered it to Sweden as well...), so maybe they have wood cups as well. Their website (forums in Swedish, club etc.) is hifiklubben.se and there you send them an e-mail, you can find the e-mail address under "information". Try.

This is an OLD thread - but its very useful.
Not only for cabling but also cups.
 
I'm interested in modding the cups (D5K) ones, and would love some advice
(Don't want to be voiding my warranty, just as polarwarrior didn't want to !)
