I am thinking about getting my self BGVP VG4, and I have read about it online, but can not make up my mind. Could someone that owns them let me know can they be tuned through the switches, to sound on a brighter side? As I own BGVP Zero and CCA CA16 so I have these two for 'veiled' or 'bassy' sound, so I want something to sound brighter, but still have some bass impact. Hope this makes sense thank you all wonderful people in advance for your help

VG4 is sufficiently bright in the stock tuning. Both upper range and bass can be manipulated using switch 1 and switch 3. I've explained it in my review here. Have a read if you haven't.

My BGVP Zero arrived today and the packaging is really nice but the actual earphones were loose in the box but they seem to perform fine so no damaged or loose components.















Only brief impressions with the pre-fitted medium tips and they sound a bit dark but I will try all the other tips.

BGVP Zero sounds like multidriver BA across the range with highs even better than of any hybrid or BA as twice as expensive. Mids are on par with 4BA Audbos P4. Slightly less bass and better highs. It's steal for the price tag.

You can micropore tape the vent on the bgvp zero to cure the lack of sub bass.

I do still feel the highs are too veiled compared to the shuoer tape, the zero sectional drawing shows filter fabric on the est, I have not popped the metal screen off yet but do think that mesh on the est could be removed to open up the top end, and drop it back down with a filter on the screen if needed.

New member (hi) but I do have a imm6 with just a vinyl tube coupler, and can get reasonable measurements with it. So comments based on change in graphs, and by ear.
