BGVP discussion thread DM7/ DM6/DMG and NEW BA series

Most bad reviews are from people that did not give enough time for the DM6 drivers to settle and gave up too soon. If you are prepared to give the DM6 150/200hrs of usage/burn time than you will be rewarded with the DM6 in its finest glory.
Very hard to beat at their price point and challenge earphones much more expensive.
If you can get them at a good price don’t be be put off to give them a try.
So i heard the got low soundstage and piercing highs that is not true

Can you lay in on the side with them that is important for me ?

Massdrop $165. Yes was gonna test them when I got them just to see how sounded in general. Then was gonna let them burn in 40 hours and test. 100 hours and test. 200hours and test. Was getting a Nicehck 16 core copper cable from Ali as well.

Very sensible plan though 16 core will be overkill long run as they smooth out.

And That’s a crazy bargain IMO. Wish theh had a massdrop in the UK and I would buy second one as backup in Onyx Black ;(

If it drops to that price or $150 on AE again on 11/11 sales I will be buying another.

Some like me experienced piercing highs at the start and others didn’t. The ones that experienced the highs and stuck with them for longer usage period later reported the DM6 smooth out over time. For me they are velvet smooth now.

Most would agree that soundstage size is one of the strengths of the DM6. It’s definitely above average so not sure where you got the impression of low/small soundstage.

They fit great and I haven’t read any complaints in that area. I have fallen sleep wearing them lying on my side in complete comfort.

Haha..

You best look into this properly.
I believe you will be charged VAT TAX and Customs duty Tax to import into Europe.
Could end up paying $200+ at the end.

Maybe you can find good sale price on Ali Express as they have have sale on 28th March.
Seller might be happy to mark your parcel with low price value which would help out with taxes.

But they are much more expensiv is it worth ?

I was going to buy the dm6 too but there are to much bad reviews

I don't understand the bad reviews regarding the dm6
I have them paired with the Hiby R6 Pro dap and the Fiio E12 portable amp and the sound is nothing short of phenomenal!! I'm always in awe listening to them. The clarity, the vocals and bass punch are amazing.

Yeah! I think there is a difference between the "sound feeling" among people.

The DM6 seem to be more sensitive than many IEMs to things like types of tips, tip opening sizes, seal, and tip insertion depth. They are also probably pretty revealing of poor tracks.

If you are looking for a more forgiving IEM, look elsewhere. But if you have access to decently mastered tracks, the patience to tip roll, and the time to physically or mentally burn these in, you may find yourself like many on this thread, ultimately very happy.

For folks who wanted to use spin fit tips, CP145 works well, but I also like Final Audio E type.

See pics,
