  Hey,

At the moment I have the T90s paired up with a dragonfly v1.2 AMP/DAC. I was thinking of upgrading to a better external amp (use the df still as a DAC). Is for example the Schiit Vali a worthwhile investment?

Cheers,
- D

you can try asgard they are good pair with t90 too.

Bottlehead Crack with Speedball is about as good as it gets with these cans!!

Alex

Thanks for the suggestion! I noticed many recommendations of crack + sb in this thread. Just doubtful if I'm able to put it together :D and ordering it pre assembled costs loads more.. :)

Schiit amps are good. You can also try a second hand Musical Fidelity X-Can V3.

I tried the asgard 2 with the T90 but with the Bifrost uber as a souce in the chain and the T90 Highs was way way too much, Maybe it wont be that way on the dragonfly but I don't know as I never had one. I sure if the source was something else the Asgard 2 would work. Before i had a Asgard 2, I had a little dot Mk2 2.0 with 6H30p-i power tube and 6HM5 EC900 EI Yugoslavia driver tube. With the M8100/CV4010 Tubes the T90 was great on the Little dot MK2 2.0 as it smoothed the highs, With the 6HM5 it was wonderful I don't recall exactly how it sound but I remembered that I Liked it a lot more then the CV4010's with the T90's. I found the EI yugo 6HM5's a perfect match after the results. I don't even have the notes I wrote any more as I threw it all out when i moved away from tube amps.

Well I finally made up my mind and ordered the asgard 2 :)

I've purchased Lake People G103-S headamp to pair with my T90's. Waiting for delivery, but I will post my impressions after I get it and have time to listen to.

Quick question for those of you that have owned these headphones for a while. Is there a better way to keep the band size at a particular point? The indents on my copy doesn't seem to be that strong and sometimes it moves easily.

They do move around more so than others , I personally don't think they clamp that tight. However I'm fine with it as these are just used in a seating position with me. Sound is good enough not to let it bother me .
