I got a good deal on the HD650 just to check if they won't clip.

So, I just bought a pair of Fostex TH900 Mk2's. Should be here next week. I'll still listen to the T90's with certain types of music but I wanted something with more bottom end for rock. Decided to go with these over the Elear.

Hey Folks,
I'm going to put my 2 years old and extremely well cared T90s for sale since I want to try the T1s V2/Senn HD800S. Don't know if it is worth the upgrade (in price...), but have to try them at least.
Located in the EU, you can PM me for further details.
Thx for reading

That is really subjective. I really don't like the HD650 and to a lesser extent the HD600. To me they are uncomfortable and boring more so for the HD650 which exemplifies the Sennheiser veil.

BTW still haven't got any response from schiit regarding my MODI MB USB issues..
its been over a week.
opened a ticket through their site + tons of emails.
I had never encounter anything like that with any other company.

It was Thanksgiving week so a small company like that might have been on holiday for the whole week.

You'll have to hear for yourself. I think HD650 sounds a bit more natural with male or female vocals than T90 and has no veil to its sound, unlike the HD6 MIX or DT440, fritobugger thinks it sounds "boring" and veiled, the next guy you ask might feel that the Senns and T90 sound unnatural versus his Grado, Audio-technica, Hifiman, or Ultrasone, and so on and so forth.

Exactly, it is quite subjective. A lot of people love the HD6x0 but a lot of other people don't.

I just upgraded from the T90 to the T1 Generation 2, and it was well worth it for me. I did enjoy the T90s for certain types of music at the time. The T1s are much more pleasant to listen to and more refined and natural sounding than the T90s. They also have more detailed mids and upper-mids, as well as a bit more bass weight and extension. The music I did enjoy on the T90s sounds even better on the T1s, but the T1s are much more versatile so I don't feel that I can only use them for certain tracks. This is just my experience so ymmv.
