I believe it has been written about several times in this thread, probably during the last (half?) year or so. There's pictures as well.

I went through Peter at Double Helix (posted some pics a couple of weeks ago), and a few guys have used AphroditeCu49 (sp? I'm on my tablet, running from memory...) with good results. You can buy one new nodded to mini-XLR from Jaben, but they won't mod existing headphones for you, unfortunately. I don't believe Moon Audio nor BTG Audio can do this particular mod... I'm sure there are other places to have it done that I'm forgetting about.

I will be getting my T5p headphones back for this Friday coming. I will post pictures of new custom Stefan AudioArt Endorphin cable terminated with an 1/4 Ebony wood connector. Will also give first impressions on sonics after 48 hrs of use

Well i am from canada and i do all my cable purchases through stefan audioart which is located in the usa. He ships worldwide and his product is high end. If you are looking for a high end quality cable i recommend going through them. http://www.stefanaudioart.com
each cable is designed for each headphone which is what no other business is offering.

You may have to deal with export/import customs processing/handling if you go outside EU. I assume inside EU = inside France.

Maybe there's a French headphone forum that can advice you as well. I do know there's a German headphone forum or audio forum with headphone section. Ditto for Denmark and Norway.

Can someone advice a good place to send for recabling (the T5P or any headphones) in Europe?

I'm new to this, i don't know what cable to ask for and what is regular handcraft hour time, nor the shipping cost, so i sincerely can't answer that question!!!

Since you're new to this:
Why do you want to recable? Many people, myself included, find that the included cables works well. This is obviously the cheapest solution.

If you need a longer cable, extension cables (TRS male to female) works fine. STAX manaufactures their own extension cables.

If you want a balanced cable for a headphone without removable cable, you obviously need recabling, but it's not obvious that it's worth it nor the hassle.

Why do you want to recable?

I find changing the cables from my HE-6/HE-500 from stock to ALO reference 16 did make a difference, and i wonder if it would be the same for my T5P.
Anyway, BeyerDynamic does not allow simple cable change for this......

Yes, it's the idea. I'm wondering if balanced would be worthy for ALO MK3B+ or Cypher Labs Theorem...Advices would be appreciated...
