ANY . REVIEW ON THOSE!!! Can't believe beyer announce them since 2-3 months ago and sell them without any pro review from magazine or anything....

Anybody reiceived their pair???

I'm kinda stuck until i know how the soundstage, tonality, bass quality, airiness, linearity of these pair are...

Currently hesitating between LCD2 rev2, T1,Westone ES5, T70, H-4, H5LE, HE-500, HE-300, SRH-940

Anybody can help pleasee :frowning2: i need somebody who knows those and listen to electronic music as well as classical or jazz..

It's so hard to choose when you cannot ear them...

Anybody know a place in montreal, Canada where you can ear most of them??

German magazines "Stereo" and "Stereoplay" did a test of T70P in their September and August issues respectively. Here's a snippet of the comments in German:

All in all, they liked it quite a bit, but I doubt it will be the killer everybody is looking for.

Graphs available from Innerfidelity for the T70p for those who are interested :

Don't overinterpret them !

I dont understand why the THD noise of the left driver is higher then the right driver.

Can anybody who knows all those graph explain them compared to the lcd2 rev2 ones.

if i look at the lcd2 rev2, we can see that its mostly totally linear with natural drop in HF
Electrical impedance and phase is totally flat?? if this is good why
Square wave are mostly squares and both left, right channel are exactly the same volts
THD noise seems very low all the way without one channel higher than the other
impulse response??? what is that? dynamics?

Compared to T1 and T70p, it seems better but why :)

Im sure this would help a lot of headfier to analyse graphs

Also what is the problem with the DT48 graph. Most forums are saying the DT48 are very flat headphones.. yet the freq graph is complete mess..

Also impulse response of DT48 is totally different from LCD2 or T1 or T70

If you look at the graphs for any planar magnetic headphone (even the vintage ones) the phase and impedance are flat like that, at least with all the graphs I've seen.

At the same time I have never seen a dynamic phone that was like that. I have no technical explanations to offer, just to point out it is a symptom of the driver technology used.

There's a risk of putting too much stock in graphs, they are interesting, but they don't let you know how a set of headphones will really sound to you.
