I have tried a large number of tips and I always come back to the CP100+. The CP100+ are indeed worth a try especially if the nozzle is long.
No doubt. Variety and options are still the name of the game. Also, I never underestimate the power of seasonality. I prefer eartips with firmer materials but have been reaching the softer Baroques a lot lately.![]()
Thats just the first shelf in my experience, there is no such thing as an universal solution for all IEMs is unfortunately the next insight.Everyone eventually finds their own go-to tips. For me, it's become the Final Type E. They're the only tips that fit me well across multiple sets.
Yup. Already long since arrived there!Thats just the first shelf in my experience, there is no such thing as a universal solution for all IEMs is unfortunately the next insight.
how long do they hold up for you? they look like something found under the sofa pillow after a few sessions when i tried them.azla sednaearfit xelastec work best for me, comfort, insulation and sounds. it is increasingly difficult to obtain them because version 2 now exists.
for those who have azla sednaearfit xelastec and version azla sednaearfit xelastec 2, is it the same for comfort, insulation and sounds ?
I am afraid that the protection added on version 2 will change the sounds.
CP100+ is pretty amazing with ED9PRO, waiting on IE45/TRN T to compareI have tried a large number of tips and I always come back to the CP100+
I have about every tip under the sun and i have to say that both the SMP and the down corning versions of variety dot IE45 are amazing tips, fit and comfort is sublime while not acoustic sacrifice quite the opposite. Varies greatly in price on AE but you can get them for cheap.
I have the Oriolus Szalayi its nozzle is very wide and very short too. Do you think your top pics would stay the same?I have about every tip under the sun and i have to say that both the SMP and the down corning versions of variety dot IE45 are amazing tips, fit and comfort is sublime while not acoustic sacrifice quite the opposite. I find xelastec hold up for around 6-8 months before they deform enough that the tips no longer stay on the nozzle. However they do pick everything up so you have to make sure to store them away from dust or they get nasty quick but that is just a consequence of sticky tips.how long do they hold up for you? they look like something found under the sofa pillow after a few sessions when i tried them.
I don't hear a meaningful difference.... for those who have azla sednaearfit xelastec and version azla sednaearfit xelastec 2, is it the same for comfort, insulation and sounds ?

I always handwash my silicone eartips after use. And they're always as good as new, for instance. YMMV.However they do pick everything up so you have to make sure to store them away from dust or they get nasty quick but that is just a consequence of sticky tips.
