Hi, I,m looking for a good set of headphones that have a good boost on the highs since I'm a treble head. I'm thinking of getting the grado 60s but not sure, any sugestions would help,

my price range is $0 - $100 the less the better, they MUST be portable, my senn 555s are amazing but not portable and lack the highs I desire unless I use EQ, so thats the reason I'm shoping

Thanks, Cody

Unfortunately I'm not much of a headphone guy. More into IEMS. The only decent headphones I have owned are the SR60i and HD25. HD25 is good and portable, but not in your price range. :p

RE0 have great treble extension. If you can reach the price, DBA-02s or B2s (B2s were recently on sale for $60, but I think that ended). PFEs are quite nice as well.

RE0 should be the one you need. The treble is superb with that IEM, but it also has equally superb mids and bass. It will sound quite a bit better than your HD555 too.

Be aware however that the build quality on these headphones is a gamble. I had two pairs break on me already. But the sound is worth it IMO, even if they break often.

No need to sacrifice other frequencies to get good treble.  A lot of headphones with a pronounced v-curve will get you there, as will more balanced headphones.  One of the phones in my collection that does a great job with this is Beyer's DT880 2003 250 ohm.  I just happen to be listening to "Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions" right now.  Jimmy Page's guitar solos are absolutely *searing*.  But the DT880 also complements the HF with good LF.  Maybe add this one to your growing list...it is a fun, involving and high quality headphone.

Brainwavz b2's,or the DBA02's are a great choice too, they're fairly balanced but definitely focused on the highs.  Triple.fi 10's can also be great if you find them for a good deal.  In my opinion they're a steal for under $150, definitely worth looking into anyways.

I dunno, I've owned both and in my opinion the HF5's don't really do anything better than the TF10's.  The HF5's are great for the price, but ever since the TF10's prices plummeted I think that they're worth the extra bit of money.  The TF10's are definitely a little bit awkward, but I happen to be able to get a really good seal with them and they're definitely very nice once you get a proper fit.  I haven't been able to EQ the HF5's with Jeteffects to match the bass of the TF10, and the TF10's to me are slightly more detailed.  Highs are pretty close, but the mid-high range on the HF5's stand out more because the bass is so lean.
The HF5's have an edge because of their form factor/design, and their eartips are just legendary, which just happens to be the opposite of the TF10's which have a very awkward design.
