No clue. It's a laptop, so I doubt it. Just a 3.5mm jack in.

unless it's a mac, then the answer is no.

I guess what you need is a good dac/amp combo with USB in.

I would look at these companies then:

http://www.ibasso.com/en/home/

http://nuforce.com/

http://tamaudio.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=92

http://tamaudio.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=55 (310 but has a good amount of fanfare)

http://tamaudio.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=68 (seems ideal and it's cheap)

As always, you can always hound the for sale forums and you might stumble on to any of these or better for a good price.

good luck!

Sweet, thanks so much for the help :) I'm assuming these would all be acceptable for mixing/mastering/creating music. But that Aune just looks awesome with a great price. Totally eyeing that one. Once again, thanks :)

*Bump* would it be better to purchase something like the FIIO e11 for on the go and keep a an E10 at home or get an Ibasso D-Zero for it's DAC and portable amp? Or switch any of those to get the max sound quality for about $150?

Based on what I've read - I think a uDac2 would be the perfect start for you. I use mine primarily as a dac/amp combo out of my Macbook Pro (or iPad) with my k271s and think it drives them perfectly. I've used a host of other amps that have come and gone (incl Matrix M-Stage, LD MKIII, LDI+, iBasso D10, Total Bithead) - the uDac2 has IMO been the equal or near equal to most of them with my k271s. The benefits other than the performance is price, and when you are ready to upgrade to another amp (like a nice OTL tube amp maybe) it can function as a nice entry level dac feeding the new amp.

just take a chance and buy something already.

Sometimes you have to close your eyes and jump in.

No one is going to give you a perfect answer.

I've gotta agree - you've received a boatload of suggestions - time to pull the trigger and tell us what "you" think!

Rokers definitely right on that. Decided I'm gonna get a JDS Labs Cmoy and a Fiio E10 :) although it seems everything I've learned so far has just gone completely downhill now that I find out about cables XDD this so ridiculous :p
