good to hear many more ws70 owners. And no worries on the comfort, just bend the headband with your hands and it will loosen. enjoy!

So when I caught wind that the WS70s were finally available here in Hong Kong. I just knew I got to have it.

...

I haven't finished going through this thread yet, but would you mind sharing with us which store you bought it from and what the price was?  Or if you would rather send me a PM?  Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.  Was it HK$1050?  When I was in the store, I wasn't interested in it but I thought that was about the price.  I bought a pair of the Ultrasone Zino, but I forgot that I was listening to it while in the store and forgot about the isolation capabilities of it.  Thank goodness the store that I bought it from will take it back.  Now I am thinking seriously about these WS70s.

I've tried loosening it with some books, but they're still pretty damn tight on my head. I think it's a no pain no gain situation for me. I'm too pansy to bend it with my hands in fear of permanently messing them up. Unless you have some trick to tell me about how I can do it without really messing them up! :)

Do not bend them with your hands!!! Just use the books for a few days and you'll be fine.  I popped the pads off and slapped junk pads on them to stretch out on the books so the stock pads dont get ruined or flattened

they are a good set, shame nobody wants to buy mine in the for sale area :\

So why are you selling them? :) I haven't gone and tried bending them with my hand, but it would be really nice to find a solution where I can wear the cans on my head for extended periods of time and wearing my glasses at the same time!

After my sufficient burn in ive come to heavily dislike them.  I will advise you to REALLY avoid them at all costs.  They have a tall and narrow stage that is bested by the JVC Has700...the audio quality in the JVC has700 which is 30$ new is better than the ws70.

avoid at all costs, i made a huge error in my review.  Right out of the box i was excited about the new sound type, tall stage instead of wide.  I would not recommend this set unless you can score it for like 25$ or less

avoid it, the sex appeal on it is high, it looks great and really looks like its an improving on the es7, its not.  the es7 smashes it in every way.

Ya, np ropen

I apologize to head fi for my review on them, saying they were good.  I was overexcited by the new sound type coming at my ears.  I really didn't do any comparisons at all for it, and I found it to be inferior to the JVC has700 in every single way including bass.  The has700 had cleaner and more powerful bass...and the Ws70 is marketed as OVERWHELMING BASS

its really sad, AT did an awful job on them.  They are the worst set Ive used in a long time.  I had to resell them for half what I paid because nobody wants them.
