What portable solutions is everyone using to power these? What drives them well?

I'm thinking I'll want to take these outside, sit on the porch, smoke a cigar, and listen to the best headphones I own.

thanks ill look into those. I hope they ship internationally.

He does ship internationally, it just takes about 4 weeks to get your order. The shipping is actually really cheap. Just don't expect to be able to track it outside of Poland.

I would also look into bestintheverse cables. The maker uses great quality cabling, seems really passionate about his stuff, not bad for pricing either.

His cables do look nice and the price is really good, but he was shut down for a month or two to catch up on orders so I wasn't able to get a cable from him when I needed it. Certainly looks like a good option, though.

I use the iDSD micro and it sounds great.

I was thinking of something that would stack with my AK120ii.
I also use iDSD micro with my ibasso DX80. Sounds great and im only at eco mode. As long as your dap has coax or optical you can connect it to idsd micro.

On cables, are these brands good? Norne, doube helix, wywires.

Just the amp, folks. When one has the AK120ii, one needs no greater DAC. :)

I'm aware there are better DACs than the AK. It's just the AK is so good, I have zero desire for another. With the right amp, the 120ii should come very close indeed to the iDSD. And it'll save me money.

Waste not, want not.

A great budget amp I really like is the c5.  Compact, good sounding, and if you listen at low volumes it's got enough power for it.

Yep, second that. Had C5 on only volume point 4-5 of 10 with high gain on and it powered hard to drive old school 2.1 original version very nicely. Surprising ability for its price.

Yeah, you just go to the support section of their website to open a ticket. Just write them that you would like your FR graph and include the serial number of your LCDs which can be found on the certificate of authenticity (the white card that came in your case) or on the inside of the headband near the ear cups.
