Hello everybody,

I'm going to buy a Sennheiser HD800 and probably a Audeze LCD 2.

I want to know what amp can fit the best with HD800 and others cans like LCD 2, HE6.

I have read numerous topics and several amp win suffrage :

WA22 seems to be a bit too tubey sound
DNA Stratus 2A3
Eddie Current Super 7 and Zana Deux
Beta 22
Headamp GSX
SPL Phonitor
Little Dot MK 8 SE

Best regards

Each headphone amp have certain sound signature, some guys recommend tubes but SS amps with a warm sound can be used as well.

The V200 is a good one, i also recommend the Soloist. It drives the HE-6 effortlessly.

GS-X drives all HPs really well -- LCD and Senns, and even he6. I have the phonitor and i is also a good pairing -- I'd say it reminds me of tubes a bit. And the crossfeed is nice, really nice. You need to keep in mind the rest of my signal path though. You may not get the same results with diff dac, etc. I can also recommend the first watt F3, which I use with all my cans with great success. It is a speaker amp and would require you to get balanced cables on your cans and speaker tap adapter but it is currently on sale by a headfier Sphinxvs (no relation to me) for a decent price. New they run new for 2800 to 3000 USD. i highly recommend that amp[.
