But it would be better if they sold it through the offical channels like their other products. It can still be limited run and built to order.

Still really loving my Amp8Ex! I've been using it with my Atlas IEM's and it a really great combo, very holographic and enveloping. Which is great because I often use them while waiting for my daughter taking her guitar lesson. There is some kid who sits right across from the waiting area who has been "learning" Enter Sandman for about a year now. I love Metallica and all but oof, nice to have a diversion

I've placed my order for AMP8EX through Japan distributor.
Newbie questuon here. I've seen the AMP8EX description in this thred in 2 ways,
i.e., AMP8EX, AMP8EX- FE, are there acutually two AMP8 EX variants? How are they different if yes?
Which of them am I buying through J distributor? They only refer to the name "AMP8EX"
Confused but looking forward the shipment now. Thanks for your advise.

Amp8EX is the one name I call it. People toss in -FE which stands for Fan Edition. The Fan Edition is officially made and warranty by Ibasso.
