I am definitely interested in these! I hope the smaller earcups does not makes it feel like an on-ear headphone! This release holds me back on the purchase of MA900 xD I really LOVE how the K550 sound xD

When the K551 was released, I already thought it's still not portable enough xD as I am not willing to carry such huge thing around + it does not come with a case xD

Haha, most likely. I did come to the K551 from the Senn HD25-1 II though, where if I'm not listening to them they'll be around my neck all day. While the K551 is significantly more cumbersome in that regard, it's still not enough for me to change my habit.

Haha thanks to this new K545 it does cause me some confusion! I'm a fan of AKG K550. In terms of everything about it I love it except for the bigger earcups, I have no sealing issue but it's just too big! It's as if it's bigger than my head xD. That's when I came across the Sony MA-900. They look perfect with exception of the rolled off bass. Just when I have my target locked on the MA900, the K545 pops up in my Facebook feed. A K550 with smaller earcups and a more weirdly colored earcups which I do not mind the green but gold... Give me sometime to accept it.

Now the problems comes D: MA900 or K545? Or both, give up my amp dream ?

yep, that might help quite a bit with the fitting issues people are having with k550 tough. IMO still not quite portable, the headband design just doesn't fit for portable use.
