Yeah, I realized that after getting them. I'll look into a closed back design for outside use, then. I still would like a portable amp for use away from home, but I guess it doesn't need to be ridiculously small. The PA2V2 does seem pretty good for the price.

It's a nice little amp. Cost is low enough that you don't sweat it even if you can't hear much diff with it--and many people actually report that it makes a good difference.
Low risk nifty gear/toy purchase. Also, the builder is stellar when it comes to customer service.
