Acoustune Impressions thread

ACT06 and ACT07 modules for the HS/ST2000 are available in HK. I didn't read any impressions on them yet despite having appeared in multiple shows in Japan already.

I asked about the difference between the two modules from a HK shop and got this response: ACT06 is focused on resolution/clarity while ACT07 is focused on bass response.
Although appearance of ACT06/07 were shown for a period, the first time demo could be tried in Japan was not a long time ago (15th Jul 2023) according to twitter.
For Hong Kong, today is the first release announced from distributer Soundwave.

There are no reviews as there should not be many people have tried / bought yet.

Seems Zepp haven't properly weathered their in ear headphones.
They are micro mechanical articles after all.
Sony EP-EX11 kills those excess trebles - that's what I'm using.
That's the Acoustune house sound right there. A very realistic voice, w/o partisan to male or female.
For my set, very realistic percussion, strings and "floor standing" bass (mid bass).
A very large sound field sealed the deal for me...
Where can I buy Sony EP-EX11 ? I'm in the USA.

Finally tried ACT06 & 07 with st2000 but personally would not consider those chambers...
(as I listen OSTs and acoustic lives, not only vocals and need realistic sound)
ACT07's vocal is good though.

I have tried ACT05 with hs2000mx MKII and personally positive to this, an enhanced low of ACT01.
Hope I will try that with st2000 and would overcome the reduced low at CM version.

For the chambers, old ones are impressive and hoping if there will be a mix:
10mm Myrinx WS unit (50Ohm [ACT03/04]): Realistic sound and impressive low
2nd 10mm Myrinx Composite (24Ohm [ACT01/02/05]): Fast response of high

I stopped at 4.. Fav is ACT02 (sometimes ACT03) for vocals and ACT04 for EDM. ACT01 is the all-rounder when i'm just playing random playlists. Wish Singapore had ST2000 services sigh.. Having a difficult time with fit now that i'm using the uber heavy Code23 cables.

Hi guys, wanted to ask for your help.
Cannot decide which IEM to get.
Acoustune HS1750CU vs Audio Technica ATH-E70. No other IEMs are considered.
With discount, there is around 150 Euro difference between them (both new units from legit store, Acoustune is the one more expensive obviously).
I'm not a basshead but I like more neutral/slightly warm tuning. Vocals and clarity are most important for me.
Source is ZX-505 (ZX-507 for Chinese market without Google apps) with .flac files.

Has anyone compared these two?

What tips are you using? I am also using code 23 cable with my HS2000mx but due to the weight sometimes when I move around the iems tend to lose it's seal.

I've gone back to using Xelastec eartips with them cos they provide the strongest holding power

On papers 1750CU is much better and more balance compare to the E70, if you are treble sensitive you wont be able to listen to the E70 with a peak that high. From my personal experience, ATH iem game is weak nowadays compare to many other brands because of the weird (wild?) tuning which make their sound ridiculous. So in my eyes, the 1750CU is a safer and a better choice.

I read somewhere about the chamber used in the HS2000MX MK3. Apparently it's a retuned ACT01 built with silver to match the new silver chasis I guess.

I think the new chamber name is ACT47, not sure if that will be on sale separately yet.

I am actually more of a treblehead (or at least upper freq person) :D
Will try to demo both at the shop as this is now getting interesting.
Thanks!

When I was using IEM ver. , I also used Xelastec to deal with the slipping problem.
But my cable used (Brise audio YATONO ultimate) was also difficult to handle and could not make the situation good.

Wish Acoustune will accept CM offer worldwide ASAP and highly recommended to try all the chambers once again with the CM as it sounds different.

HS2000MK3 is out in HK with the ACT47 silver chamber, priced around $2500 USD.

The chamber itself costs around $1800 USD. I think I’ll finally pass this one up this time.

There’s also an official case that stores up to 6 sets of chambers now, I think I’ll grab this one :)

Has anyone here had experience in purchasing / dealing with MTMTaudio? Good or bad? I'm just asking because I ordered an Acoustune IEM from them Sunday night (my first time ordering from them), and after the fact asked by email if the cable included could be 4.4mm. Got an auto reply back saying my message would be answered in 24 hours. Well, now nothing, and they haven't replied to a couple more of my emails inquiring about status, or chat messages on their own website. I even tried long distance calling them tonight, and no answer. Needless to say I'm getting quite worried they aren't going to fulfill my order, and I'll be out the funds. I hope this is not their M.O., but I can't help but be concerned.
