I'm keeping them both.Amazing futuristic industrial look, much nicer than the MKII version.
What are your thoughts when comparing them with the Trailliis?
Also, first need to find ideal eartips for the hs2k!

I'm glad to hear you're happy with the sound of the HS2000mkIII! I also own a pair, but I find the treble can feel a bit metallic when paired with the ARX500, which can get uncomfortable over long listening sessions. I switched to Eletech's Aristotle upgrade cable for the HS2000mkIII, and it made a noticeable improvement. If you're interested, it's definitely worth a try!after lunch, i spent an hour or 2 in bookstores. then i passed by a headphone store nearby and ended up going there to have a look.
many local headphone stores closed down in the pass few years - the economy in general as well as the market for portable audio (e.g. wired iem/headphones, etc.) shrinks noticeably i believe.
the store is empty without any customers when i walked in - there also seems not much new stuff on display. they however got sales on a few items that's quite attractive/. beyer dt770 pro x 100th anniversary edition is less than US$200!!! but i also saw the acoustune hs2000mx mkiii at 30% off and with a sign said "further discount available - please ask"
i really love the design and sound of acoutune in general. i got the mki, ST2000 and also act01-05. so i naturally wanted to get the mkiii. the demo sessions have been very pleasing but the high price deterred me to get the mkiii so far. with a 30% off discount, the price is marginally bearable. i asked and the shop offered a further 5% discount!. nice so I took out my card to complete my first cyber weekend purchase
switching from the sp-iem7 to mkiii, there is so much more sparkling in the treble region and the tuning fits my preference much more. the build quality is exceptionally high as usual. the cable is in a much heavier gauge but still flexible. the swappable plug is a nice user friendly feature - i prefer L-plug though. the soft case inside seems fake leather and there's no compartmentation inside to protect the beautiful iems. i think acoustune should consider to throw in a 2-compartment mesh pockets and also added compartmentation to the storage case. otherwise, this is near perfect implementation of DD - the bass extends deep and impactful. the treble is detailed but not irritating.
i just saw some newsfeed that acoustune is going to release a made in japan TWS HSX1001 with interchangeable module next month. i'm going to preorder one!!
thanks for sharing. not into cable rolling as i have tried few different cables (of different price categories) in different occasions but really can't tell any difference in sound ( though big difference in construction quality and ergonomic). has to note that i'm not a good listener as i missed out some 3dB differences in the herman how to listen training software repeatedly.I'm glad to hear you're happy with the sound of the HS2000mkIII! To prevent bumps and moisture damage, you might want to check out the Lepic Jukebox earphone case. It's designed specifically for IEMs like acoustune's and features internal slots to prevent the earphones from colliding and getting scratched or damaged. Additionally, it has humidity control to keep your earphones in optimal condition.
I've been using this case to store my earphones, and it works great.

To be honest, the choice between these two cables for pairing with the HS2000mkIII completely depends on your personal preferences. Based on my own preference and style, I chose Aristotle. When paired with the HS2000mkIII, the Aristotle cable makes the sound warmer and adds a bit of surround effect, while enhancing the thickness of the midrange. You can clearly feel the sense of presence or live performance, making you feel closer to the stage. At the same time, the information conveyed by the HS2000mkIII remains intact, and the treble performance continues to be brilliant while the metallic edge disappears entirely.Hi,
I just purchased the HS2000mkIII two weeks ago. While the ARX500 performs well in many aspects, I wish the vocals could feel more emotive, so I’m currently looking for a suitable upgrade cable.
Could you share a brief review of the Eletech Aristotle? Also, have you had the chance to compare the Eletech Aristotle with the Euclid?
I’d be truly grateful if you could provide your insights.
Thank you.
The features you mentioned about both cables sound amazing, and now I’m a bit torn on which one to choose. Since these two products are not available from local dealers in my area, your detailed description of their sound characteristics is incredibly valuable to me. As for Euclid, I have two friends who prefer this upgrade cable. First of all, in terms of appearance, this cable better complements the silver-gray tone of the HS2000mkIII. Compared to Aristotle, Euclid does not alter the original signature of the earphones’ stock cable. While maintaining the original tonality, all three frequency ranges are enhanced. Under Euclid's influence, the spatial and refined qualities of the soundstage are noticeably improved. At the same time, this cable expands the soundstage while preserving the vocal positioning, ensuring that vocals do not become marginalized due to the widened soundstage. Additionally, the treble performance delivers a listening experience reminiscent of Odin's aggressive treble—bold and dazzling.
At the time, the devices I used for comparison were the SP3000 Stainless Steel and the HiBy R8II. I hope my opinion is helpful to you.
