And those SR407s look mighty tempting...so does a used HE-6...this place changes your mind for the worse really fast...

Schiit Lyr is on the list as well as an he6 or lcd2.  Also would really like to upgrade the speakers in my car since I will be traveling 10 days at a time for my new job.  I've been wanting to actually amp all the speakers and not just my subs.  I crave some clarity that is currently missing.

px200-II for portable? You just go from ES7 to ESW9 to PX200-II?!

I know! But the ES7 was super uncomfortable, the ESW9 was okay in comfort but I haaaaaaaated the overwhelming warmth and smoothness (I'd take the KSC75 sound over the ESW9 even if it was $15). Hopefully the PX200-II will fill that gap AND be more comfy. We'll see. I know I won't enjoy the sound as much as the ES7 though.

For my New Year's headphone resolution, I'm going to sell my Dr. Dre Solo HD's and buy a pair of probably the Srh750Dj's, by selling them 25% off.
Maybe I'll pay extra for a cheap/portable amp down the line and see if it'll do anything.
