Creative X-Fi HD Mixer vs kMixer and Bit-Perfect audio
I have a X-Fi HD on Windows XP SP3 and I was wondering if the creative driver and mixer use the kMixer in Windows? Is there a way to disable the kmixer to see if the Creative DAC still works? It is impossible to get bit perfect audio from this DAC because it only supports 48khz and 96khz...- TJ Max

Foobar wasapi 3.0(push) changes the headphones sound
I just downloaded the new wasapi 3.0 and it changed the way the music is played through the headphones. The sound is much more spread out. I am using the push setting, the event setting sounds like the old wasapi. You guys should check it out.- dre2000

Exclusive Mode
Im tired of having to close Jriver media player everytime I want to watch a youtube video and get the sound to work. FLAC vs CD quality difference
Is there a quality difference between FLAC and actual CD? Should it be the same or no? CD is 128kbps but if you upconvert to FLAC you would lose quality even though you are going to loseless codec.- barksdale
