General Information

Our portfolio has been enriched by the new Edition eleven, a set of dynamic hi-fi headphones with an open construction. These headphones are meticulously handcrafted at our production facility at Gut Raucherberg near Lake Starnberg. Thanks to their open, circumaural design, they deliver an airy, detailed sound with excellent spatial graduation. They are thus perfect for enjoying various sources of entertainment and all genres of music – from classical and jazz to rock and pop. This sophisticated handmade masterpiece, the Edition eleven, is strictly limited to 1,111 sets.

Airy sound, balanced and spatial
The core components of the Edition eleven are the 40mm drivers with TruTex bio-cellulose fibre compound membranes, and the headphones are also equipped with neodymium-iron-boron magnets. The balanced frequency range covers 6 to 42,000 hertz and the maximum sound pressure level is 94 dB. These German-made hi-fi headphones reproduce every acoustic nuance with complete authenticity, so your favourite music will play with impressive spatiality and airy effortlessness.

Patented S-Logic® Plus technology ensures a particularly spatial sound. The decentral placement of the sound transducers incorporates the outer ear into the hearing process, which creates a stunning sound stage. Moreover, the use of S-Logic® Plus means that less sound pressure is required to achieve the same perceived volume. This protects against hearing damage and prevents fatigue, even during long hours of use. ULTRASONE ULE (Ultra Low Emission) technology and MU metal sound shielding also minimise the magnetic radiation by up to 98% when compared to standard headphones.

Maximum comfort, even for long listening sessions
An open construction, which allows for better air circulation, and the soft, replaceable velour ear cushions provide even more comfort. The solid aluminium headband ensures a secure but comfortable fit and is a visual highlight. The elegant appearance is emphasised by the ear cups made from solid walnut. What’s more, these hi-fi headphones have an extraordinarily robust construction so that you can enjoy brilliant sound for years to come.

The ULTRASONE Edition eleven comes with a comprehensive range of accessories: ear cushions made from microvelour and a detachable, premium 3-metre 4-core cable with 2-pin connectors. A screw adapter from 3.5 to 6.3mm and a microfibre cleaning cloth are also included. The headphone stand, which is also included in delivery, is the perfect way to display the Edition eleven. A transport pouch is also included for safe storage when on the go.

Is there a closed-back version of it?
Unfortunately there is no closed back version of the Edition 11. But I can most certainly say it's the best tuned Ultrasone Headphone. Beautiful balance of the low end, mids and high with a focus on musicality with amazing clarity and amazing detail. 😊 It's one of the best purchases I have made in a long time

For my experience, it's very hard to find a headphone that can 100% satisfy me and stop me to hunt other headphones. Congratulations to you that you finally find something that allows you to stop hunting.

It's been a long journey. Owning the V Moda M100. Then moving to Fidelio X2. Then Beyer DT1990 Pro. Then Audeze LC2, then I went for the Focal Elegia and have tried countless open backs from the Focal Clear, Ananda and many more. The Edition 11 is the one that really hits the spot. No my journey isnt over. There are still many headphones to try. But the Edition 11 is the first one that will not go anywhere. I will keep them untill they die on me. Now that is rare for me. They are a true keeper.

Just tried these headphones for the first time today after stumbling upon an open box return and I am absolutley blown away at the sound and build quality of the headphones. I'm so happy Ultrasone finally got one right (at least in my opinion) because I've really wanted to like S-Logic. Compared these to my Focal Elex, Modhouse Argon T60rp and Dan Clark Audio Ether Flow 1.1 open and these feel like they are on another level. The bass thumps but is not muddy and the mids are not recessed, they are JUST right. The treble is crystal clear and is non-fatiging.
I'm sure some will come up over time, but I can't really find any flaws with these....These are criminally underrated. I think the scarcity and the awful Edition 10 meme are the only thing holding these back from being a go to favorite for a lot of people.

Abosulely agree, I call the Edition 11 a musical masterpiece. If you crave amazing musicality with very good balance. The Edition 11 is a great option. It's sad that the Edition 11 doesn't get much love due to the Edition 10. Yet honestly, there are other headphone companies that have put out worse headphones charging big bucks but yet they still get praise. While I do feel the Edition 11 is the stand out from Ultrasone. And I'd call it the best headphone from them so far. It also is serious competition for other headphones. If Ultrasone can follow what they did with the Edition 11. They could have something great lined up for us.

After a few days I find these cans to be intoxicating. I sat late at night hearing all these detail and layers I've never heard before on some of my favorite songs. Is this headphone the most sonically accurate in how it represents each song? No. Is it the most fun and engaging set I've ever used? Yes... My search is over for now. These cans might have saved me from divorce hahaha.

Anyone find a good set of replacement pads for this? These sit on my head like 12 hours a day while I code. Safe to say I need a new set of pads and do not want to spend the $100 bucks Ultrasone is charging.

Just picked up a pair--and am really enjoying them!
It's been a while since I've listened to the Edition 11. But I think my love for them will reignite after getting myself a tube preamp. I got myself a Ampapa A1. I'll hook it up to a few set ups and do some tube rolling. But yeah, the Edition 11 are some of the most fun I've had in a while. Just put them on. And zone out with the music

Have been a/b-ing the Edition Eleven vs. the Focal Clear OG.
Compared with the Clear the Edition Eleven resolve better; soundstage is bigger and better organized; tonally purer and more concentrated; generally tighter and better focused to my ears and with my equipment.
