List of DACs that work with iPad
Does a device like this even exist: A DAC that can connect to the 30 pin dock, and that also has an s/pdif out. I'm looking for a way to get digital sound out from my iPad 3 into my Focusrite Saffire 24 audio interface digital input for music production. Playing lossless music isn't a...- Honkymagoo

UPCOMING Little Dot DAC
Got my Sennheiser 650's in. I only had a few minutes to listen at lunch, but I like what I hear so far. The Last Time I Saw Richard off of Joni Mitchell's Blue album is a good test track for me, particularly the 3 minute mark till the end. It normally is a little harsh, but the DAC-1 plus...- Honkymagoo

UPCOMING Little Dot DAC
I got my DAC-1 back from Little Dot last Friday. Everything works great. I first used it via USB, but have been on the s/pdif for the last couple of days. I have it running my lossless library via MediaMonkey and sometimes Foobar to a MKIV SE with Beyer 990s. I used to think the Beyer's were...- Honkymagoo

Little dot mk iv headphone out question
If it's the SE, it's just a locking neutrik 1/4 input like this one: Just a nicer jack, that releases your plug when the red tab is pushed.- Honkymagoo

Little-Dot MKIV SE for Senn 650s
I have most of the Little Dot amps, with the exception of the VII. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. I use my MKIV SE most of the time, and I like it's flexibility as a preamp for my speaker system and a headamp. The service is good, but if you have a problem you have to ship it...- Honkymagoo

UPCOMING Little Dot DAC
I just received my DAC-1, but I can't get it to work via USB. I've tried 3 different computers, and none will even recognize it. Has anyone else connected theirs via USB? The coax works fine.- Honkymagoo

I agree with Burninate35 on the Senn hd555s for gaming. Very comfortable for long sessions, and versatile enough for movies and music as well.- Honkymagoo

Sennheiser Evolution EH-150 or Skullcandy Hesh?
Do you want something covering your ears? If so, I say Sennheiser HD 202 or even 201s would fit your needs and are very affordable on Amazon.- Honkymagoo

high sound quality headphones
I had a pair of Beyerdynamic 770's I used and I couldn't hear squat outside of them. My wife would yell at me trying to get my attention and I couldn't hear her at all. They make a couple of different versions as far as impedance goes, but are usually easy to find at a great price on the sale...- Honkymagoo

New iPods is coming
I was kind of hoping for a 320gb classic, but there are a lot of rumors of all hd based players going bye-bye. I'll probably snag a 5.5 80gb is the line goes more towards the touch end of things.- Honkymagoo

LOD Cable or Dock
I have an Ipod Classic 160gb. I am getting a Little Dot MK IV SE, and need an RCA-to-LOD cable. I'm also considering getting a regular "stand" type dock like this one : BLACK Dock Station Cradle+REMOTE for IPOD Classic/Nano! - eBay (item 320292214563 end time Aug-28-08 22:26:05 PDT) In...- Honkymagoo

iPod 5G, is it neccessary to use "dock" as line-out into an amp?
Using the line out dock bypasses the internal amp in the Ipod. You get a cleaner signal.
