Lets see ive got: Utopia 2022, HE1000se, Stellia, Clear MG, HD660s2, HD6xx, HD58x, Bathys, ie 600 I haven't gone crazy with source chains. Everything runs through Singxer SA-1 with DX7 Pro as a DAC only.

I do not recommend buying from Adorama regardless of sale price. I received a used / open box Utopia 2022 from their July sale, even though the product page said it was new. It was a hastle to return and get my refund and required a bunch of calls to their customer service.

For the record I had already registered the utopia with focal and was given the 24 months warranty letter.

My adorama order was also open box / likely pre-owned. I called customer service on Thursday and they asked for asked for photos, then cited 2 business days to figure out how to respond lol. Suggest you do the same.

Does the btd 600 work with the S22 ultra? It's on the way and my primary use case is to get aptX adaptive with the Bathys to my phone. BTW the DAC mode works flawlessly with my phone. You just need to set the headphones to DAC mode before using it.

I was going for the lcd-4 as well. Sale page had a 404 for a full 10 minutes after the hour. Not a great customer experience

I see the he1000se as a straight upgrade to the Arya despite the Arya having a more agreeable tuning without EQ. In what use cases are you going to use the Arya over your he1000se?

My unit arrived Saturday and has a 'chip' in the wood. Anyone else have similar markings? Hifiman cs claims its natural. Curious if this is normal / worth pursuing an exchange over. Doesn't impact my enjoyment whatsoever but thinking about resale value down the road.

Yeah they're in nyc pretty close to Grand Central terminal. Totally reputable. The owner was v nice when I was hunting for an ie 600 and texted me promptly when they were in stock again. I would definitely shop from them if that's what you're asking.

edit: has anyone tried the oratory1990 eq presets? curious if you had a preference between the harman target presets and the 'optimum hifi' preset. the harman one is a tad bass heavy but thats subjective.
