Philips Fidelio X2?!
I accidentally tripped over the wire and my beloved X2's cracked a bit but I thought it was only physical damage. Soon after now my right ear seems to keep losing sound unless i wiggle the wiring. Any ideas how to troubleshoot and fix this?- impruv

Sound Induction
http://www.bassegg.com/ The claim that anything can become a speaker and that depending on what you put on it, the sound changes. Does anyone know if this is as good as it claims? How would putting this on a bed with soft sheets, or a chair that's not really completely flat? ...- impruv

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
Quote: How many hours do you have on your FX1X now Ulti? I'm probably nearing the 40 hour mark and it has really opened up alot. Compared to the m9, m11, m6 I like these a lot more (slight basshead). But the highs and mids on the Meelec's aren't substantially better at all to sacrifice...- impruv

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
Quote: Yea, I'm at about 20 hours of burn in and they are really starting to open up a bit more. If DSNUTS is right, then at around 50 they should really be nice. And if they do, I'd say it was the best purchase ever for $16 CAD I paid haha.- impruv

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
Quote: I would have never gotten them if it wasn't for you, constantly spamming it :D Also because I was able to get it really really cheap with EPP. With that said, fit and isolation are decent but damn those red monster like cables. As for the sound, after burn in of about 20...- impruv

What is your price range? I think there are better options than S4 at the moment. I think my JVC xtreme xplosives for $20 is better than the S4 at almost every aspect. I also prefer brainwavz m2 over the s4 as well.- impruv

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
I can't say I'm an audiophile, so I won't be able to describe it to anyone perfectly. I listen to dubstep/house/hiphop/r&b mostly. For these, I prefer the JVCs over the m9/m6/m11. They bass is much more impactful, feels deeper(?) . The mids and highs are clearer than the m9s and are about the...- impruv

The Basshead Club
The best budget IEM for bass, and I mean BASS. JVC ha-fx1x. They make MEELEC M6,M9,M11 and Soundmagic E10 sound lifeless [in terms of bass]. Huge impact and can be had for <$20. It is also better than vanilla turbines (bass impact of course). Great fit and easy to drive.- impruv

SoundMagic E30 from Brainwavz m1
How about the new Brainwavz M4. It's a little brother of the b2 so it aims for detail/clarity but early impressions all show it has better bass than m1, but less than m2.- impruv

Brainwavz M1 -> B2
From the mp4nation forums, the M4 has better bass than M1 and is looking to be great from the early bird price. Should be great for rock music- impruv
