I accidentally tripped over the wire and my beloved X2's cracked a bit but I thought it was only physical damage. Soon after now my right ear seems to keep losing sound unless i wiggle the wiring. Any ideas how to troubleshoot and fix this?

For your music the S4 have better sound but they will break pretty easy for daily gym activities.

What is your price range? I think there are better options than S4 at the moment. I think my JVC xtreme xplosives for $20 is better than the S4 at almost every aspect. I also prefer brainwavz m2 over the s4 as well.

m6 is the best workout headphone ever!   When there are sales, MEElec are the best bangforbuck out there IMO.   Great customer service and build quality overall.

The best budget IEM for bass, and I mean BASS. JVC ha-fx1x. They make MEELEC M6,M9,M11 and Soundmagic E10 sound lifeless [in terms of bass]. Huge impact and can be had for <$20. It is also better than vanilla turbines (bass impact of course). Great fit and easy to drive.

I'll be getting them hopefully by next weekend. I can compare them to Meelec M6, M9 and Shure 750DJ full cans.

Well I thought these would be in the same ballpark since the E10's are considered bass heavy IEM's as well. Guess the XX have even more!

How about the new Brainwavz M4. It's a little brother of the b2 so it aims for detail/clarity but early impressions all show it has better bass than m1, but less than m2.

From the mp4nation forums, the M4 has better bass than M1 and is looking to be great from the early bird price. Should be great for rock music
