It is totally safe to use on the finish. The user guide only says to use alcohol-free wipes due to the amount of products on the market that would vary in amount of alcohol saturation. You want to avoid alcohol getting down the sound tubes and potentially ruining a driver. So yes they are safe...

When developing the Valkyrie and Wraith, they were designed in conjunction with the new shell designs. The X and EP series are still currently in their original shells. We are exploring the avenue of redesigning these shells, but at no compromise to what we currently do. Edit: Just to be clear...
