    Watts Up...?

I am also a TT2/MS owner, and I had a somewhat similar experience to yours. And just when writing this posting, I switched from pass-through mode to full-scaled mode to replicate. The effect is not dramatic, but all pervasive. For me its is obvious when I let go and immerse into the music...

    Watts Up...?

I got the impression that the Quartet Scaler will work only with Dave, but not with TT2?

Thank you, I already ordered a new set of batteries, assuming the fitting plugs are XH 2.54 - will take it from there.

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread

Since some time my H2 does not power up unless supplied with external power. Once running, I can remove the external power and it goes on fine. Could it be a voltage drop in the batteries and replacing them would cure the issue?

    Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A

Hi, I am using the Raal SR1a with a Kinki EX M7. As source I use a Melco N100 feeding Chord's M-Scaler Hugo TT2 combo. Now, I realize MinimServer 2 has an option to apply EQ. I wonder whether anyone has done it and could offer advice how to do it and whether anyone has done and could offer a...

    Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A

Hi everybody, i am intrigued by the November sales and I want to buy a Raal SR1a. I am really excited. Now, I haven‘t read this complete thread, so likely my questions have been covered. But I still hope that maybe I could get an answer. I have Chord M Scaller, Hugo TT2 both with LPS that...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I have been using the M-Scaler/Hugo TT2 (both with S-Booster LPS) combo with an Mac Mini/LPS, Audioohilleo2/PP and Amarra. Now I have replaced the Mac mini with a Melco N10 (a music server). The improvement is substantial! There is sense of calm, peace and naturalness. Dynamics is way much...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I had both - the problem with the Hugo-2 is the limitation of what kind of BNC cables can be used. Similar, the use of Cinch cables is somewhat restricted, my LessLoss c-Marc did not fit. M-Scaler/Qutest with ferrite-loaded BNC cable, external linear PS (SBooster) and LessLoss c-Marc Cinch cable...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

Hi, I used - 1M Germany YARBO SP-PSC-75O Hi-End 75Ω Pure silver coaxial digital audio cable, OD 7mm - Nitrile 7mm ID x 3mm C/S O Ring. 7x3 - Würth Elektronik 74270045 Ferrites. These ferrites are much more compact compared to the equivalent ones that fit a 8 mm cable (eg the Oyaide silver...

I can use my iPhone as a remote for iTunes and/or Amarra, which includes volume control.

Interesting. In my case, I could still appreciate the improvement of a linear power supply for the Mac mini, even in the presence of Audiophilleo2 w/PurePower, suggesting that a state-of-the-art streamer could still provide further improvement,

I do still have the Hugo2. But I cannot use my WAVE clone cables with it, but apparently, the ferrites are not required with Hugo2? But then I read the Qutest sounds better than Hugo2. I will compare soon.

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I have the Audiophilleo since long, I bought it in 2014. However, I was hoping I could reduce the clutter and remove it from the chain. Quite possibly, a Jitterbug may have similar effects. I can only speculate about the cause. However, I thought the >2 GHz noise is an issue between M Scaler and...

Considering M Scaler has galvanically isolated USB input and re-clocks the signal, I think it is.

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread

I got another question: I got frustrated with making a double BNC -> 3.5 mm cable to connect the Hugo2 to the M Scaler. So I just bought a Qutest instead. However, Qutest has no volume control, Hugo2 has. Now, I am using the volume control of Amarra. I wonder, is the volume control of Hugo2...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I have recently bought an M-Scaler and after being WOWed initially, I was increasingly irritated by what may be called "glare". I use the M-scaler with Qutest. Both for M Scaler and Qutest, I use SBooster linear Power Supplies. To connect between M Scaler and Qutest, I built my own BNC cables...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

For me, HQP could not be an alternative to M Scaler at all. All reports suggests it sounds inferior. Apparently, there are many filters and parameters, screaming for constant fiddling, upgrading and stuff. It seems to be for restless people who enjoy tinkering around, not for me

Hi, thank you for your question.Yes, I made this cable myself. These are ferrites: DigiKey No 732-1554-ND The BNC connector are Neutrik NBNC75BUU11 The cable is a Belden 1694A-GN And the 3.5 mm connector is Hicon HI-J35S03 Best, Bruno

Hugo2 to M-Scaler cable turned out kind of heavy🥴 This is the plain version (Belden cable, Neutrik BNC) - the all bling male jewelry version ( Oyaide silver) will follow. This version sounds nice already.

I would say so, yes. It is like the musicians and the music finally came to my home as friends. Before, the sound was good and enjoyable, but in hindsight I would say it was clearly a reproduction, trying hard to be music, kind of exhausting after some time. I do not know how much better an TT2...
