So this pertains to the gen 1 CrossFades, has anyone had the entire ear cup pop of the hinges? Mine did yesterday and am curious if this will turn into a constant issue now that it happened once

I do recall them taking an ridiculous (maybe not a month) amount of time to ship. Just had it marked ready for UPS or whomever certainly frustrating and not professional at all.

The new Beats definitely look good, but I can't stand there styling and that fact that everyone and their mom has them. Still might pick up a pair, or some nice iems.

Pretty much this. The thing is, I love the styling of them vs most everything else out there. But the false advertising and complete disregard in addressing theses problems is such a major turn off.

I feel like the hiss is blown out of proportion. I get it when on my mbp, between songs. Outside if that non issue, don't get any on my S7. However it will drop for .2ish of a second on my S7 granted I'm in an area where there may be outside sources messing with the connection.

My CFW's hiss when concrete to my MBP but are clean on my S7.

This is where I'm at. I bought the CFW due to styling, toughness and sound quality. Oh and the fact that it was intended to be wireless, at least the name implies so. But if this was made to be a m100 replacement, then I'm out. Still waiting to hear more reviews from non 'established' reviewers.

I too would be using them with android on a S7, my issue really stems from any lack of communication. It's kinda like a company offering something, but not backing it up imo.  Plus they need to introduce a phantom chrome. 

Was watching a few reviews where people say they sound better then the V.1's in BT Mode. But with the lack of communication from both Val and the customer support I have trouble putting faith in it. 

Have you used the CFW and can compare the sound? I use these 99 percent at the gym, so size and BT connection do matter. Just wondering if it's worth the upgrade, as the Cliqfold in itself is not.
