Sony Xperia 5 mk. II is a much better sounding phone than lg v30

Sound quality/music quality terminology, doesn't matter. The point is LG is more powerful but my Xperia does sound a lot better in comparison

But you're mixing power and sound quality. LG has more power, definitely, but Xperia is better qualitywise

In terms of power yes. But in terms of sound quality Xperia is the best on the market. V30 sounded much worse and it was considered to be the best phone for music. It had more power though

is there a dap which would connect to a phone and let you know when someone's calling you? I've heard fiio m6 can do that but its sound quality is inferior to for example my xperia 5 mk ii, let alone lg v30

Sony Xperia has a headphone jack and removable storage. And sound much better than lg v30. It's my daily driver now

Volume control maybe, because my phone's volume controls are inaccurate. By the way, do I need to use UAPP for the music to be handled by the dongle, not the phone?

I don't need power as I'm only driving iem's. I only care about sound quality. Oh and about the size- well it can even be the size of NextDrive Spectra X, but not as big as cord mojo

Hey guys, if anyone is thinking about buying a phone for their empire ears IEMS (or any other high end IEMS), I have to say that my Sony Xperia 5 mk II sounds phenomenal, much better than my previous lg v30. I'm using legend x

Imagine if these brands did not support MQA. They would lose half of their customers. PS Audio themselves stated that they only implemented MQA into their equipment because they didn't want to lose clients.
