They are bright and they have decent amount of bass but more sub bass than mid-bass. They are also not too comfortable. However in general they are well built and sound good.- shooter

I would even say bass is not that totally controlled, quite tight and still very big with mid bass impact. Maybe bass in Sony's is bigger but empty and with no extension.- shooter

Compared head to head px8 to m4 and PX8 are simply better, timbre,more layers etc. M4 though is veeery good for its price, better than XM5 and much better than XM4.- shooter

In my case btw4 in my phone vs direct phone bt with NFP: decreased volume, decreased highs, increased soundstage. It is much better with PC than phone to use.- shooter
