HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768
Mine arrived yesterday to UK, a typical speedy response from Hiby. Have had short listen to the R6 on class A and drives my Arya's and LCD x's no problem on medium gain. Sounds an improvement on class A to the R6 2020 I've got and also a lot quicker in operation .Have also bought the CR06 dock...- Steeler

HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
Agreed, I bought the WH2's to use with my iphone, but took to tinkering with the WH2's with my R6 2020 as the Hiby Blue IOS app doesn't have full functionality with the WH2's at the moment, only the android. (Hiby inform me thats is not far away)- Steeler

HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
I have the same issue volume on WH2 not loud when turned up to full on R6 2020 ( that said it isn’t on R6 pro either) and Bluetooth connection poor when any distance away from both devices. Bluetooth on iPhone X much beter but volume still not loud , so think this is a WH2 problem not a R6 2020- Steeler

HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
I've used the balanced cable and the effect is still the same , the static type noise is still there between tracks although appears indiscernible once music is playing even on a very quiet passage of music. (it was with standard cable also) Have also tried it the farthest away position from the...- Steeler

HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
I’ve had the same issue but cannot pin it down to any specific thing. I agree that it’s more noticeable when phone is nearby .Was going to check if it’s as a result of differ bit rates of each track on the streaming app as the noise is noticeable between tracks. It has then same sound as a doggy...- Steeler

HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
Yes same on my R6 2020 and R6 pro, showing 192 k even when I know track is 16/44.1, it even triggers off orange operating light on hiby players as if it is playing 192 track. (should be blue) I was thinking of changing to Amazon HD instead of Tidal when Tidal had a few issues last week, and am...- Steeler

HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions
Ordered direct from Hiby, took a little over a week with tracked delivery, no postage costs and no duty to pay. (to UK). Love the R6 2020, slight hiccup as mostly listen to Tidal and recent issue with Tidal sign on, but now that has resolved loving the sound of Tidal Masters (768K) with my...- Steeler

Sound Quality Sony NWZ A15 vs iPhone 6 Plus
I'm no expert but I have a Fiio X3 2nd gen, IBasso DX50, and a Sony AWZ A15 and an Iphone 5, and the Sony certainly sounds better than the Iphone to me, in fact I prefer it to the other players as well, I use Cosmic Ears CIEM.s CE6Bs. (6 drivers per ear and quite revealing) so you would need to...- Steeler

FiiO X3 2nd gen vs Sony NWW-A15 with ATH-M50x
Ive got a Basso DX50, a Fiio X3 mk2, and a Sony NWZ A15, and listen to these on some custom IEMs from Cosmic Ears (CE6B's) and for some reason or other I keep coming back to the Sony where I just prefer the sound.- Steeler
