thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea

You're correct. I never turn my iPhone off, but I was not used to not turning my dac's off after each use. Now that I've had a few days using Opus 1, I agree it is nice to have instant music and not having to wait until the dac powers up. After two days I see very little change in the battery...

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea

I guess the battery won't last long if I never shut it off. There should be an option to rescan on not to rescan. This automatic rescan on power up is crazy, it takes 20 min to rescan 11900 songs. Must sleep be turned on or is this built in, you say it's a default but I see a sleep button with...

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea

I just bought a Opus 1 and I have a major problem. I power off the dap at night and when I power it on in the morning it scans the entire library of over 11900 songs before it will resume playing the last song I was listening to when it was powered off. This takes a very long time and for me the...

    Fiio X5 3rd gen || 2x AKM 4490 || Balanced Out || DSD || DXD | DTS | Android || Dual Card Slot

I installed 1.1.7 on my FIIO X5iii and now Resume does not work. Every time I start the device I must reselect the album and song I was listening to. If I select recently played from the menu it will play the last song but will not continue with the album, it plays the next song on the recently...

FIIO X5iii - What battery life are you getting?

Sounds good, better than my Onkyo DP-X1.

FIIO X5iii - What battery life are you getting?

I know the spec is 10 hrs, but what are you getting in real life? I'm concerned about Music Mode. I currently have a Onkyo DP-X1 that I only get 2 hrs battery life. I also have a FIIO X5ii which gets great battery life but I want a dap with wifi and bluetooth.

Question on DP-X1 balanced mode impedance

I’d like to use my DP-X1 in balanced mode. I can get balanced cables for Shure SE315 but these are 27 ohm impedance and Onkyo has a warning that balanced requires 32 ohm earphones. Will I damage the DP-X1 if I use the Shure SE315 with balanced cables? Is anyone using balanced mode with earphones...

FiiO releases the new firmware FW1.7.2 for X1 2nd gen

I don't think there is anything wrong with the SD. I tried it in a X5 by itself without TF2 and it took 7 min to update. Maybe its a X1ii hardware problem.

FiiO releases the new firmware FW1.7.2 for X1 2nd gen

X1ii has always been slow updating media lib but FW 1.5.3 is worse. I have a 128gb sd with 5020 songs and it took 1 hr and 55 min to update. That's unacceptable. My X5ii with 2 128gb sd and 7082 songs only takes 10 min to update. Every time I add or delete some songs I don't want to wait almost...

FiiO,   Thank you, I'll give it a try.

That FW is labeled 1.4.1 not 1.4.2 beta.

If FW 1.4.2 beta improves bluetooth operations I'd like to try it. Where can I get 1.4.2 beta?

I forgot that lineout was a default setting when I upgraded. I changed to headphone.

Thanks, that was the problem. Lineout must be the default selection but maybe it should be headphones.

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

I upgraded my X1ii to 1.3.3 and now I get this message every time I power it on.   "Switched to lineout successfully, please be careful of the volume. Press OK to continue."   Is there a way to prevent the message or is this a new bug?

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

I’m having a problem with playing a track on bluetooth after X1ii power up. I power up my wireless headphones then power up X1ii (in order as was recommended by FiiO). The headphones connect and the X1ii starts playing the track last played (I see the counter is moving) but there is no sound...

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

The reason I was having a problem playing ALAC files on bluetooth was the files were 24bit > 48k and they are not supported. I converted them to 24bit 44k and they play okey. And the problem of album covers not always being displayed was the size of the cover in the metadata, some were over 600...

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

Amadeus Pro also transfers all tags in the conversion but sometimes the cover didn't display when playing a file so I add a cover.png just to be sure. I love FiiO products but sometimes it takes awhile for the FW to work as expected.

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

I'm on Mac and i believe foobar is a Win app. I use an adapter with the microsd on my computer but it is still slower than if the file was on a computer HD. I use Amadeus Pro to batch convert and all my FiiO's X5ii, X3 and X1ii sometimes will not show a cover unless a cover.png is in the folder...

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

Apple uses .m4a for both ACC and ALAC, and I have both, I must first check a file in each album to find if it's ACC or ALAC then convert if ALAC. I have about 2000 ALAC and 6000 ACC files. Also, a cover file must be created for FLAC files that is not necessary for ALAC files. Conversion is...

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

I know and I've done it for some files, but I have 100's of ALAC files and will take a long time and a lot of work to convert them all.
