When talking about upgrading I am refering to upgrading the ones already sent out. I don't see how a later upgrade window would create more logistical problems than doing it right now. It would probably be roughly the same number of upgrades. Also, I'm not so sure about the "obvious" about not...

I don't get how they can prioritize upgrading fully working A16 units over shipping unfulfilled kickstarters and preorders.. Why not just wait with the upgrades until all the previous commitments are fulfilled? Is it the financial reasons still?

Do we have any official info regarding this? Will they become available at all or are they only delayed, perhaps due to the delay of the Exchange?

If $2000 is what you get with easy and cost concious manufacturing I’m curious to how a difficult to produce Ether 2 would be priced. Also not sure I agree with the application of the word aggressive with regards to the pricing.

The downside of Yodobashi is that it is very noisy. Also, bring your own demo cd as the ones they had were not really to my taste.

I was in Tokyo this Easter and demo'ed Stax at Yodobashi in Akihabara. At the time and to my memory they had the SR009, SR007 as well as the LX00 models. Amp wise they had the SRM727, SRM007 and 353X. I walked away with a 009 and a 727... Edit: Oh, also the E-earphones in Akihabara is worth a...
