How are you loading your DSD files. I don't have but a few that need gapless but none of them work but they do in the Onkyo app. I have mine loaded in the standard Artist/Album/Song (01-10). The problem with Onkyo app it converts to PCM 48kHz, even in the paid version.

These are some of the worst earphone I have. The bass is weak and mushy and the highs around 4k are way to loud and distorted. Changing tips helped a little but not much.

Don't know about battery, but OTG gapless flac works fine for me.

The EQ works on Hiby, even on DSD. Also you can pause it and come back to play using remote ear buds without taking the player out to turn the screen on first.

OTG is when you hook up a USB drive with music on it and play it through the player. USB out is when you hook it to another unit that supports USB out and you play the files on the fiio through that unit. Fiio has not been good for this with any player I know of. I can do this with my cheep...

The OTG works fine on both my X5II (with older firmware) and the X5III. Maybe you need too look at what hardware your using or your file system. I can use two 256gb cards and a 256gb flash with many types of files and it works. I do not have the X7.

All I have is the Fiio E17 and no USB out. It shows Locked but no output.

Mind got locked into OTG mode and would not charge so I hooked up an OTG cable to the player then hook that to a power source and it unlocked it so it would charge again. Just a thought that might help.

I now have the Fiio F5 and these are the best Fiio has to offer and have my Havi's sitting in a box.Price wise they beat some two or three times the price.
