For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
The more technically limited, the more imagination magic happens. I think in the old days people could be quite good at vividly reproducing the missing parts in their mind. Cool grandmother, her music collections must have shaped your taste too I believe :)- rhinech

Good luck hunting the OG. Hope you will enjoy! PS: When I said I heard the OG has better holographic presentation, I meant heard from the internet, not compared by myself. Hope that didn't mislead you.- rhinech

The cable-trauma gave me a good laugh, thanks man! I got the MSRP quote from this link. Title quite funny! The starving musician story is really cool. And at $100, the TF10s were really a gift for music lovers. I have the OG MEST Universal. (Because I heard the OG has better holographic...- rhinech

TripleFi 10 < Mojo 2 Listening to my first hifi earphones, the TF10. Still remember how I was blown away first time listening to them. Horrible fit (didn't know about flip flop mod at that time), horrible cable, but the sound was just so smooth and energetic!- rhinech

Focal Elegia - what do you think?
Thanks for sharing this. I also have Elegia and VC and love both. VC at home and Elegia at work, often amazed by how good the Elegia sounds. Initially I didn’t like the Elegia because of the upper mids dip. But once I learned to appreciate its soundstage and imaging, I totally adore it. And...- rhinech
