my list of "wants" is not too long.  Just want it to sound good, be fairly easy to load music on to and easy to use. It would be sweet if it had wifi capability but I haven't seen that yet in a portable audio player (except phones) and probably not realistic in my price range.

thanks Haku, that is definitely one I was considering.  Do you have any experience with this player?  I see the x3i is only $150.  Major difference?

I feel like I need to rescue this thread and post something audio related :) I'm kind of in the market for a good portable audio player.  Would need to be sub $200. recommendations?

yeah, I'd rather not talk about it considering I paid $100 for my re400s. I'd like to hear the re400s on a better source.  Right now I'm using my s5 hooked up to a topping d20 and bravo v2.  Perhaps something like the fiio x1 or x3 would be better.

Hey Vince, I've been listening to those TTPOD IEMs on my lunch break.  Doing an a/b comparison with my re400s.  I hate to say it but I think I might like the TTPODs better.  I like the bottom end, much fuller, especially kick and toms.  I think the re400s may be cleaner but they lack the punch...
