I brought my ad700's and had a lot of fun. thanks everyone for putting on this event. It really helped lead me in the right direction for my next purchases.

a friend is suggesting that I check out the Hifiman he-400i planar/orthos how would these rank up with the hd700's for soundstage and precision/imaging?

Well I guess I will see you all Saturday! I can bring my schiit optical modi + magni and ad700s I do not have a easily portable optical source to bring because my pc is watercooled but if someone else has one then they could listen to the modi + magni

I am a eq noob. how on the sbz eq would you adjust for this? or would it be best to leave the eq on the sbz flat and use the fubar eq instead?

I have been looking at the Sennheiser hd 700's Honestly I think I am over the audio technica "wings"

I play fps games and really prefer a large soundstage with precise imaging so that I can pick out players across the maps and through walls.

I live in MLT and have been really thinking of getting the Sennheiser HD 700's and thought that if one of you had some then I would stop by the meet and say hello!

they are around $550 right now on amazon used - like new.  Do you ever see them for much less then that?   edit: also I live in the seattle area. I do not know of any stores that carry them in my area...

there is a image on page 1-20 of the manual I linked that shows exactly where the jumper goes. btw the jumper comes on the board in the correct location. unless they bought this board second hand then it should have been preinstalled where it was supposed to be. if you are missing the jumper see...
