Good find. Have you tried it with an efficient portable such as the px100-ii? Would the gain be too much?

Using a IBM t41 for movies and music.. both sound great through either my stereo or headphones .. Had a sony notebook before , which sounded terrible. It's hit and miss I suppose, with notebooks.

Cool thread , I love my Ipod Mini with 2gb Sandisk flash.. it's very user-friendly for podcasts *Sony for Music . Btw. I use a Ipod 4G battery with double the capacity . I taped it on the outside of the casing and put one of those silicon skins around it . Twice the battery life!

I too find it hard to discern between normal and bass-settings, They're quite neutral .. this is coming from a pair of ksc75s . They do sound good for 20 dollars, better than those horrible JVC fx66s, but they still have a little of that signature IEM harshness in the highs , not bad by all...

Ksc75 are not exhausting at all . especially with a good source like a sony DAP. I am very sensitive to sibilance and had no problem going from older Px100s to ksc75 . I did have problems with jvc fx66 and Mylar X3 and even pk3 *which are not all that awesome at all. Dare I say, the ksc75...

Just get some px100s ... great all-rounders and adequate sound.
