Google Nexus 4
All my troubles was gone after flashing the Franco Kernel (I'm using R155). I got both the headphone amp and volume boost on, I´m still experimenting with what amount that would be ideal. I´m highly recommend anyone with the N4 to install this kernel since its way better then the stock in all...- SimonReborn

I've been loving my nexus 4 since the release but the highs is sure piercing and you aren't able to crank up the volume to any desirable levels :/ Is this the kernel you were talking about: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367341 Should I leave everything on default?- SimonReborn

Review of Meier Audio Corda JAZZ with ƒƒ-technology upgrade
Haha, definitely something I would look into! I'm running a very high-end water cooling solution myself and I'm always up for anything water cooling! Wonder if we can overclock those suckers to produce even better audio^^ Jokes aside, this could be affective to prolong the lifetime of the amp...- SimonReborn

[REVIEW] HiSoundAudio Wooduo 2 (Warm & Cosy)
Great review! These definitely seem to fit my bill. I´ve discovered my ears being quite sensitive to treble and I´m most definitely a semi-basshead! They look great aswell, I love the wood and red cable combination. To bad they´ll get the recognition of being beats by the youngsters (or...- SimonReborn

Review by 'SimonReborn' on item 'Sony MDR-XB700 50mm XB Diaphragm Driver Extra Bass Headphones'
Well... the reason you've been stumbled across these badboys is probably because you are a basshead, and these do delivery, they really do. Now, I wont go over the spectrum since these aren´t a pair of audiophile headphones and they were never meant to be. These cans job is to go down and dirty...- SimonReborn

Entering the world of "true sound"
Quote: Without going to technical, the frequency response ends up being slightly different for the same pair of cans, with higher impedance/Ohm usually sounding the best and cleanest, less strained. With higher impedance you´ll need more power to drive it, therefore an amp is required...- SimonReborn

An Absolutely Amazing Headphone Album! - Head-Fi TV, Episode 006
The moment you realize how utterly atrocious your temporary headphone/amp setup is... I wasn't impressed at all and couldnt appreciate any 3D imaging except for the left & right separation, Kill me already- SimonReborn

PC Enthusiast-Fi (PC Gaming/Hardware/Software/Overclocking)
Quote: There won't be an 6GB version. It will make a too small gap between the 780 and the Titan, therefore, Nvidia have decided to not release the 780 with any higher then 3GB. And as far as the "Titan 2" is concerned, It wont happen until next year. Nvidia are done for this year, with the...- SimonReborn

PRESS RELEASE: Bang & Olufsen announces BeoPlay H3 and H6 headphones
Big fan of the B&O line of products. You really gonne have to judge them as art tho, and have a pretty loaded wallet, but once again, we all know how much a well appreciated painting can go for :) I've been visiting Denmark 2 times this month, my main concern was the Louisiana...- SimonReborn

Entering the world of "true sound"
Anyways, I don't really see why anyone would drop 500-700$ on a apair of headphones if music isn't their prior concerned. You are better off with a 5.1/7.1 speaker system, perhaps paired with the Xonas essence ST. With that being said, if you invest in a high end pair of headphones and...- SimonReborn

Entering the world of "true sound"
A Asus xonas essence STX would do the job. You are getting some great audio for the price. As far as the cans goes, It really depends what sound you are looking for. Beyerdynamics DT880 and DT990 would be a great choice IMO. The DT880 if you want a more balanced pair of cans, DT990 if you want...- SimonReborn

780's won't be enough. 3GB Vram ain't cutiing it since I use a 7560x1440p setup. But performance wise, I would get more out of the 3 780's, at the cost of extra heat and not that good scaling/profiles that 3-way SLI would bring me.- SimonReborn

Best Active Speakers
We all got our opinions, man. I really don't see why try to continue this argument in a thread about a guy asking for a pair of speakers. What the hell does a TV comparison have anything to do with the thread subject?! On the side note, It all depends on how much you think the design is worth... -
Best Active Speakers
Their price/performance ratio is outrageous. You're paying for the branding and the georgous design. IMO they got pretty much the perfected audio for the average consumer (with a phat wallet). Very likeable sound that is very enjoyable/easy to listen to. Calling out their products as being 90%... -
Best Active Speakers
Best value for your money? I got a rather weird suggestion that I'm currently rocking. :) Get out and try finding a Bang & Olufsen 32inch Avant TV, It is equipped with a pair of WONDERFUL active speakers, great clarity and impactful bass! If you don't mind a ****** giant piece of art standing... -

Hmm... I got an unopened i7 3960x laying around here somewhere... Now the question is: Water cooled 2-way SLI Titans or 3-way SLI GTX 780... Life's a bitch ^^- SimonReborn

Looking for very good 2.1 speakers for gaming with a budget of $800
With that budget, you are prolly looking for a more audio perfected system, but the Corsair 2500 p does the job for gaming. One might say it sounds powerfull due the huge subwoofer, but once again, its far away from perfected audio since its tad overpowered over the rest of the spectrum. Makes...- SimonReborn
