If you use these out of an iPhone with a lightning adapter with Apple Music will you still get hi res?

I guess I missed the press release on Apple Music digital masters. How do these compare to tidal, amazon, and qobuz? Is there a way to see apple digital masters in Apple Music? I don’t see the logos? Thanks

I’ve been using amazon direct from an iPad Pro into the m Scaler using a usb input. The odd thing is that the m Scaler always shows the source as being 192 even though sometimes it’s 96 or 44. Anyone else have this issue? Not sure what to make of it.

Thinking about dropping qobuz for Amazon. The 12.99 price point is great. Hoping Apple follow suit and also adds this.

Looks like amazon just launched their HD and ultra HD music service this morning. Can’t wait to hear about it. Hopefully Apple will follow with a similar offering.

My dream would be for this to prompt Apple Music to do the same. Right now I have a Apple Music family plan for my family and I use qobuz. Not the most efficient.

Just read an article that amazon is trying to launch a high fidelity service to compete with tidal by the end of the year. That could be interesting.

I use the app,on my iPad and works great so far. Much prefer it to tidal.

I also get 24/196 out of my iPad Pro which has the usb c connection vs lightening.

As an experiment I downloaded one track and sure enough it shows up in my offline library. I tried to remove it by clicking remove from offline library but it doesn’t delete. It still shows up in the offline library. Is this a glitch?
