I’m considering both of these. A few questions. How efficient is the 5 vs 4z? Can you really drive the 4z without an amp, just the phone? Could you drive the 5s with a chord Hugo 2 or would you need a TT2? Any other considerations? Thanks

I can only speak for the 4z (which I love): yes you could drive them off a phone, but no... you wouldn't get much out of them. They need to be properly driven by a decent amp to shine and offer all the immense detail and dynamics they're capable of.
