This is the only problem I've had with my player and like you said, it's a minor inconvenience.

+1 to all that Notrix stated. I don't have any of these issues with the R6. One of the nicest, well designed dap's I own.

Mine was doing the same thing. Turn the player on and connect to the computer. Swipe down from the top of the player screen and it brings up options to charge or transfer files. Choose transfer files. My sd now shows up on my computer. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if I could get a little advice....the USB input on my Yggy has quit working for some reason. I've changed cables and sources and it's still not showing up even though it's worked fine for almost a year. All the other inputs are working fine. All my other dac's show up and work...

You might try some aftermarket tips. I couldn't get a decent seal with the supplied tips and ended up with the same sound characteristics you described....put some spinfit tips on and it improved the sound and isolation a great deal. The bass on some of the jazz tracks with the spinfits is...

Did you have the M1 scan the SD card after you put the update file on it?  And make sure there is only one update file on the card.  After you update you can delete the update file from the SD card.

I've tried it with several different amps and so far it hasn't affected the sound in any negative way.  Ramp the volume on the M1 to 100 and control the output on your amp. A lot of times double amping causes distortion but I haven't experienced it with this dap.

Thanks for posting this!  I've had to dig through some drawers to find mine (had completely forgotten about them) bit it was worth digging them out.  They sound wonderful.   I also found a set of Sennheiser px100 that I had forgotten about that sound pretty good.  I wonder what else is in that...

Unless your are using an amp, it sounds like to me that you are plugging your phones into the line out plug.  With volume settings at 7, 5 and 4 there is practically no sound coming out of my dap when plugged in the the headphone jack.  Am I missing something?
