just a quick question if you say the K701 has a better resolution than the HD650. what exactly is this better resolultion and how do you hear it? if you take for example just a guitar. is the greater resolution that you hear more details. like the sound when the pick hits the guitar strings?

@JaZZ you said you are using bass heavy music for burn in. How much do you turn the volume up on the Aria? Wouldn't be the optimal "break-in" music be HipHop with all the bass?

does the 650 or the K701 sound better at lower volumes? with the 650 and the Aria I have always to turn up volume that it really sounds clear.

what does it mean if a recording has a background hissing when I turn the volume up? does this mean it is recorded analog? I wonder because the 2002 Norah Jones Album is not hissing but the 2004 is hissing. does this mean they changed to analog?

is there anyway to determine if a ape/flac file has the HDCD bits or not without burning to CD?

Hi! Currently I am owning the Aria with the HD650 and I am considering upgrading to K701. But the question for me is...is the Aria good enough for the K701? What I am hoping for is a better soundstage, where you can really see the positions of all the instruments, more details and some more...

hi! how is it possible to rip a HDCD to ape? I've read that its possible but its does not work. everytime when I play the file with winamp it shows me only 16bit and not 20bit.

I have never heard a theremin, but I dont think it is one because it was an unplugged show and the theremin electricity.
